The Billionaire's Forbidden Longing

Chapter 182 Exam

Allison knew Cameron's situation was a mess. Being a foreigner, the local laws couldn't touch him. But going back home? That'd be worse than jail.

"He'll get what's coming to him. Back with his family, he's just a throwaway," Allison said. Once Cameron left the country, Carl would handle his affairs. Carl was known for being ruthless; Cameron was in for a tough ride.

Alexander looked at Allison thoughtfully and then asked, "Landon wants to know if that armed drone of yours is up for sale."

Allison raised an eyebrow and grinned. "Interested, huh? That drone's not cheap."

"I know. So, is it for sale?" Alexander pressed.

Allison thought about it, stroking her chin. Selling it would be a big deal, but she shook her head.

"The drone's Carl's, but the tech is mine. I can give them the technology for free. They can build their own drone. But there's one condition: Cleo has to coordinate with Mr. Wells. If we hit any trouble here, I want Mr. Wells's support," Allison said.

Alexander was surprised. "Allison..."

"What? You thought I'd ask for a ton of money? You underestimate me. Sure, I charge for most of my work, but Mr. Wells and his team are doing important stuff. I wouldn't charge for that. Alexander, you're so narrow-minded," Allison teased.

Alexander leaned down and kissed the tip of her nose, only to be playfully pushed away.

"You should get some rest. I need to sleep too. Because you're so narrow-minded, I'm punishing you. I'm staying at my apartment for a few days, and you're not allowed to visit!" Allison declared.

She laughed as she pushed Alexander out the door, then climbed into bed. She needed to be well-rested for her third trial with Benjamin the next day.

Early the next morning, Allison and Mia headed to school.

The news of the competition had spread. Yasmin, who thought she'd be chosen, was passed over for the less prominent Jim, whose photo now adorned the honor board.

"Jim's amazing! He got selected and can now go to a top university!"

"Yeah, and Allison is the chair of the judging panel. How old is she, anyway?"

"Don't you know? Allison's already a PhD student. She's incredible!"

As Allison walked into school, she heard the various rumors and approached a group of gossiping students.

"I heard Yasmin say her sister used to have terrible grades. How could she suddenly get so good? There must be some inside deal," one student speculated.

Allison smirked. "Inside deal? Are you saying I'm not talented and got here because some rich guy took a liking to me?"

The students stepped back, like mice before a cat.

"You're seniors now. It's amazing how you can take everything at face value. My teacher is an academician at the Academy of Sciences. Do you even know who you're talking about?" Allison challenged.

With a scoff, Allison led Mia to their classroom. As soon as she sat down, she was swarmed.

"Allison, are you really the chair of the science competition's judging panel? That's insane!"

"Yeah, you're not even done with high school!"

Some students were skeptical, thinking Allison was making it up.

She glanced at them coolly. "I don't owe you any explanations. If you want to know the truth, check the official website."

The students rushed to verify her claim and were stunned by what they found.

"Oh my God, it's true! She's really Allison! And she's a PhD student at the Academy of Sciences!"

The classroom buzzed with excitement, and Allison found herself the center of attention.noveldrama

"Allison, can I get your autograph? I bet I could sell it for a fortune!"

Allison laughed. "You want my autograph? Sure. I'll give you a test. If you score at least 50%, you get my autograph. Deal?"

Her challenge deterred most of the classmates.

Mia, sitting proudly beside Allison, looked at them smugly. "With that kind of attitude, you really think you can be friends with Allison? Her tests are once in a blue moon- seriously, you better cherish this chance!"

Their class had always been the worst-performing, often overlooked by teachers. No one expected a top student like Allison to emerge from their ranks.

"Allison, will you really help us study? My dad said he'd give me a million dollars if I'm not last in class. I'll split it with you!"

"Yeah, Allison, we'll pay you for tutoring. Please?"

Mia's eyes immediately lit up, and she looked eagerly at Allison.

Allison sighed, amused at Mia's reaction. "It's not impossible, but everyone's at

different levels. If you want my help, you'll need to take a test first."

The students groaned but didn't back down, which was impressive.

Allison handed out the simple test she had prepared for Mia. Mia took on the role of proctor. When their teacher, Alton Bridges, arrived, he was surprised to find the class taking a test.

"Is there a test today? Why wasn't I informed?" Alton asked.

Seeing the test papers, Alton was delighted. "Who made these? They're excellent! The difficulty level is just right for our class. Are there more for other subjects?"

Mia proudly handed over the test papers for several subjects to Alton. Although Alton was a chemistry teacher, he was knowledgeable in other subjects as well. After reviewing them, he couldn't help but praise them. "These questions are really well-made!"

"Mr. Bridges, all of these questions were made by Allison. I've already done them!" Mia said. Alton was a bit surprised, but he quickly understood.

"You guys are really lucky to have Allison as a classmate. These tests aren't too difficult, but they accurately assess your abilities. Even I couldn't make such good test papers!" Alton commented.
