Chapter 183 Being a Teacher Once
The news spread like wildfire through the school: the students in Class 8, who used to be the worst-performing, had all started studying and were even taking tests. The craziest part? Allison was the one making the test questions, which naturally got the other classes curious.
"Allison's pretty amazing. The questions she makes are just right for the students in Class 8. I checked them out; they look easy, but the students are really struggling with them," one student said.
Yasmin overheard and let out a snort. "Allison loves using these tricks to win people over. Her questions are so simple that they only mislead those who believe in her. The real tests won't be this easy!"
A lot of people agreed with Yasmin.
"Yeah, Allison just likes to show off. There's no way her class can compete with ours. They're dreaming!"
Seeing so many people bash Allison, Yasmin felt pretty satisfied.
But Allison didn't care about the gossip. She sat in a corner, carefully reviewing each test paper, making notes, and assigning numbers to them.
During study period, Allison handed the papers to Mia to pass out.noveldrama
"From now on, based on your number, I'll give you problem sets. There are five levels. Level 5 is the lowest, and you'll have the most problems to solve. If you can't handle it, you can quit now," Allison said.
The eight students who got Level 5 papers were the ones at the bottom of the class. They came from rich families, so even without studying, they could live comfortably without working hard.
Allison gave them the option to quit without shame, considering their grades were already at the bottom.
"I won't quit. My dad said if I'm not the last in class, he'll give me a million dollars. Allison, you can't get rid of me; I'm sticking with you!" Tyrell Baldwin said firmly. He had never once achieved the reward his father promised throughout high school.
With Allison now in the picture, Tyrell felt he was closer than ever to that reward. Allison nodded, appreciating Tyrell's determination.
"If there's no objection, we'll start tonight. The problem sets are already printed. One sheet per day, to be handed in the next day. If you miss three consecutive days, you'll be considered to have quit, and you won't get any more problem sets. Is that clear?" Allison announced.
The room buzzed with excitement. In the past, they would have hated the sight of test papers, but now they were filled with a sense of purpose.
Magnus, upon hearing the news, reviewed the test papers Allison had set, his eyes filled with admiration. "This Allison is a real gem. It's a shame she's just a high school student. We won't be able to keep her for long. Alton, keep these papers; we might need them in the future!"
Alton and the homeroom teacher, Nola, nodded in satisfaction. The class, once notorious for causing trouble, now had students who were highly motivated to learn, much to the delight of the teachers.
As a result, Allison became an assistant teacher, responsible for creating the questions while the teachers focused on explaining them. The learning atmosphere was quite positive.
Mia, excited, shared the news with her family.
"Allison is truly impressive!" Liliana remarked, intrigued.
Victor, filled with anticipation, added, "I wonder which university she'll go to. It'd be awesome if she came to Stellar University!"
Liliana was curious too, but Allison had been staying at her old apartment these past few days, so she hadn't had a chance to chat with her.
Allison, in her apartment, was coordinating with Benjamin's team. Her place had been turned into a workspace by Cleo.

"Why is Carl still here?" Allison asked, surprised to see Carl in the apartment.
Cleo stuck out her tongue. She had been wondering the same thing. Carl, who usually stayed for a few hours at most, had been there for days.
"I don't know. Carl has given me several plots of land to survey," Cleo replied.
Allison was taken aback. It seemed Carl was serious about setting up a biotech company.
As Allison and Cleo chatted, Carl walked over and took Allison aside.
"It's your pharmaceutical company. You need to do the planning and design yourself. Alexander will handle the construction. Also, I'm leaving tomorrow. But before that, I need to see the results of the third phase," Carl said.
Allison sighed, pointing to the data Carl had given her. "Don't tell me you want me to finish the experiments and the designs before you leave. Carl, are you trying to kill me?"
Carl smirked. "You've been living too comfortably. Don't forget, you're broke now. Your account is empty. Remember?"
Allison fell silent. She had spent all her money renovating Serenity Manor. She couldn't accept mediocrity, so every detail was meticulously crafted, with custom woodwork and hand-painted tiles, and the intricate moldings were done by skilled artisans, which cost a fortune.
Allison scratched her head, feeling the weight of her financial woes. "Got it. I'll have everything ready before you leave," Allison said.

Taking the survey data, Allison headed to her study. She preferred drawing her designs by hand, so her study was equipped with a drafting table.
Seeing Allison head to the study, Carl turned to Cleo. "How's it going at the Bennett Group?"
Cleo stood straight and reported, "Allison has absolute control over the Bennett Group. Hayden gave up his shares to get Jasper out of prison. The company used to rely on shipping for profits, but that hasn't been lucrative in recent years. Without other projects to support it, it would have gone bankrupt."
Thanks to Allison's involvement and the infusion of new ideas, the Bennett Group's profits had soared, especially with the addition of the tech department and the gaming industry. Under Cleo's management, the company was thriving.
"Have you forgotten why you're there?" Carl asked pointedly.
Cleo glanced nervously at the study upstairs. "Carl, this is Allison's company. If she finds out, she'll kill me!"
"So you're more afraid of her than me?" Carl's gaze was icy.
Cleo quickly shook her head. "I'm afraid of both of you. But if Allison finds out you're using her company for financial transactions, she'll be furious. You know how scary she can be when she's angry."
Carl's stern look silenced Cleo, and she obediently went to carry out her tasks. Allison spent four hours on her designs, feeling utterly exhausted. When she received a call from Alexander, she was barely able to muster any enthusiasm.
"Hello, your online girlfriend is currently offline. Please try again tomorrow," she joked.
Alexander, holding his phone, grabbed a takeout box from his car and headed towards Allison's building.
Soon, Carl received an update. "Sir, Alexander is here."
